This week we will look at God in circumstances. Sometimes it is challenging to find God in certain situations, especially in these hard economical and terrorist times. Can God have a role even when a situation gets even worst than it was. We probably can feel God in more wonderful situations only. This week we will discuss these situations and find out if God is really there through the good and bad. Here are some questions you might want to think about before class.
Read Genesis 45:4-15, 50:19-20
1. Do you tend to see God's hand guiding you more through wonderful or hoorific circumstances?
2. Why is it easier to see God in past events?
3. With the economy getting worst or better, what do you think God's role is?
Hopefully these questions will stir up some conversation as you further your study in God word.

Ways to Connect with God
Hello everyone,
I am excited for the opportunity to conduct this class. Since I have been a spiritual leader I've searched for better ways to get closer to our Lord. I am a long way from getting where I need to be. I feel there are many of you out there that probably feels the same. Connecting with God is what He expects us all to do every second of our time, but the world gets in our way from doing so. In my class we will look for different ways to connect with God. I have finished a book call, "Connecting with God" by Richard J. Foster. He gives us 12 ways to do this. I am excited for us who will take this journey with me, because I know we can learn how to build a better relationship with God. Here are some questions to consider.
1. Has God always yearn for us to have an intimate relationship with Him like Adam and Eve had?
2. How can we improve ourselves to find this place of God dwelling with us?
3. What gets in our way from spending time with God?
This week we will look at Listening to God through his Creation. I hope to see you in class.
